Watauga
Watauga means Village of Many Springs and the city gets its name from its indigenous population, the Cherokee Indians. It was visited by settlers in 1843 and has been constantly growing and expanding since then. Residents of Watauga enjoy the more removed and friendly environment of their city while still having easy access to downtown Fort Worth.
